Sleep Here For The NightFalling asleep in a pool of pitch blackSleep Here For The Night
The dark may not keep my soul intact
The fire that fueled the sun in this grave
Became a spirit of smoke, pacing away
As the night poured into my tired lungs
It felt as if the last song has been sung
Slowly the feather of an ill nightingale
Told of the apocolypse that was no tale
My chest caved in
All the dark turned to light
A star pleaded slowly
"Do not be of fright!
"This land is not a heaven

FabricThe fabric of you, richly woven in brilliant threads, and the almost divine thrill of silk that bruises my fingertips when I unbutton you and turn you inside out. I wear youFabric
like my favorite jacket - suede patched sleeves and velvet cuffs, lapels that whisper your secrets to my skin and seem to pull the night into your pockets as I watch your colors run, long and singing in the dark
